Tried traditional talk therapy and ready for a deeper approach?
What is Experiential Therapy?
Experiential therapy focuses on what you feel in the moment—not just what you think or talk about. The goal is for you to leave sessions having had a meaningful, healing experience that helps you better understand yourself and respond more thoughtfully to triggers.
Instead of only discussing the past, we’ll gently explore your emotions, body sensations, and reactions as they happen. This can help your brain form new, healthier patterns over time.
Together, we’ll get curious about different parts of your experience—including protective habits and deeper feelings like fear, anger, sadness, joy, or even disgust. By safely processing these emotions, you can build greater self-awareness and develop more compassion for yourself.
Fostering healing and transformation from trauma. Whether you are looking to overcome the powerful impact of a life changing event or series of painful experiences, childhood trauma, or attachment wounds; EMDR might be the right treatment for you.
I practice other memory reconsolidation therapies using imagery, sensations, cognitive techniques identifying negative beliefs and narratives, and image and memory rescripting to create a new meaning experience or "mismatch" between the memory and the body response and image. This can be done with or without bilateral stimulation.
Jen is EMDRIA Approved EMDR Trained Level I-II from Trauma Recovery Humanitarian Assistance Program, 2007.

I believe in convenience and access to mental health care. I believe in the value of connection, even in situations where in-person connection opportunities are limited. I strive to make online counseling sessions feel as much like an in-person session, providing the same level of professionalism as sessions that occur in the office. I utilize a secure, HIPAA compliant platform. Telehealth is available to individuals in Wyoming and Colorado.
